Wheaton’s Inaugural Summit for Women in STEM brings together a powerhouse network of industry leaders, researchers and academics with undergraduate students in STEM who represent the next generation of innovators. At a time when women represent only 24% of professionals in all STEM fields, the Summit will open new worlds to aspiring young female scientists. By connecting industry leaders with up-and-coming talent, the full-day meeting will create connections, forge new relationships, build knowledge and match students with inspiring role models. The day will include a panel on the status of women in STEM, talks by women in STEM from academia and industry, undergraduate talks (register to give a talk!), and time for networking with professionals and peers. You can find the (tentative) schedule here. All undergraduates in STEM are welcome to the 1-day summit. Registration is free, however space is limited!
